Kneel facing a high pulley with a rope attachment held beside your head. Hinge slightly forward at the hips to start with tension on the abs. Crunch down by flexing your spine, bringing your ribs towards your pelvis. Return under control without letting the weight pull you back up. One of the few ab exercises that can be loaded progressively, which is why it is worth doing. Common mistakes: turning it into a hip hinge, and pulling with the arms rather than crunching with the abs.
